Summer Flowers

On Friday I took a peek at the challenge on the Friday Mashup site and decided to play along. I'm just now getting around to posting my card.
I used a few stamp sets to complete this card: Greenhouse Garden (retired), Papillion Potpourr, and Thoughts and Prayers. I used Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Delightful Dijon ink; Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, and Whisper White card stock; the Bitty Butterfly Punch and the Tip Top Taupe 1" Dotted Lace Trim.

Blooming birthday CAS

Last night I checked out another card challenge to get some more inspiration. I hopped over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out this weeks sketch. Here is my version of the card.

I used some paper from the Pretty Petals DSP Stack, whisper white card stock (is didn't have any Very Vanilla on hand) Calypso Coral and Old Olive ink, the Flower Parch stamp set and coordinating framelets. Thanks for stopping by!

Finally some new goodies!

I got my first new catalog order about a week ago but haven't gotten around to using it. I wanted to clean and organize my stamp room before putting my new goodies in there. I finally sat down today to use some of the goodies today and chose the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge as inspiration.
I used the Cherry On Top Washi Tape, Whisper White cards rock, the Tin of Cards stamp set, Bremuda Bay ink, and Watermelon Wonder ink. It was a very quick, simple and easy card that could easily be mass produced. The stamp set is great too and has a variety of sentiments that could be used.
Thanks for stopping by!

What are you stamping today?

In trying to do a craft room clean up and purge (we all need one every once in a while) I came across a huge pile of left over kits from my stamping classes I had in Wendover. The techniques are still great ones but the papers and stamps I used for the cards are all retired so I thought I would put them together and add them to my stash of cards I try to keep on hand. Maybe in the future I will redo the techniques with some newer products. Keep an eye out for those!

And we're back!

Well kind of... I guess I never really left but I was just busy with school and working another job. It seems like I have to restart every year at the beginning of summer. This year I am going to try to be better.. I know... You've heard that line before *grin*. I am trying to set up a class for the end of July. "Why so far away?" you ask. Well simply for the fact that I am hoping to recruit a few more people to come and I would like to get back to my routine of monthly classes. When we lived in Nevada I had a pretty steady once a month stamping class that met for probably about 4-5 years. Here it's a little different. Wish me luck! If you would like to join me for my stamping classes leave a comment and let me know.
